Apart from the cherished moments I share with family and friends, theatre has always been my greatest passion. There’s nothing quite like being swept away by the magic of a live performance, where the stage transforms into a land of make-believe. My love for theatre led me to train as an actress, and I’ve had the privilege of performing in productions across the country. Those experiences taught me the power of storytelling and the joy of connecting with others through shared moments of emotion and creativity.
Before stepping into my current role as a celebrant, I embarked on a varied career journey that shaped who I am today. I worked as a Personal Assistant in the bustling city of London, honing my organisational and interpersonal skills. Later, I became a primary school teacher, a role that deepened my understanding of empathy, patience, and communication. Each of these paths has uniquely equipped me to create meaningful and personal experiences for the people I work with now.
On the home front, I’m the proud (and slightly sleep-deprived) mother of two wonderful children: my five-year-old son and my feisty one year old baby girl. They bring so much love and laughter to my life and remind me daily of the beauty of new beginnings.
Whether you’re here to learn more about me or explore how we might work together, I hope you’ll feel the warmth, creativity, and dedication that I bring to everything I do. Let’s create something special together!
For a long time, I wanted to become a celebrant, but it wasn't until almost ten years of teaching that I felt the confidence and timing were right to turn that dream into reality.
I’ve always had a deep love for people, and connecting with them is one of the most rewarding parts of being a celebrant. I’m especially passionate about love stories – I get truly invested in them, and it’s an honour to weave those beautiful narratives into unique and creative ceremonies. When it came time for my own wedding, I chose a celebrant because I wanted a deeply personal and unforgettable experience to share with my loved ones. I know first hand how vital this role is in making such moments special.
While I adore the glamour of a fabulous event, at my core, I’m a homebody. My husband often says I’m one of the kindest people he’s ever met because I always put others before myself and go out of my way to help. Clients have often said they find it easy to talk to me and that I have a calming, reassuring presence. If you're working with me for a funeral, I truly hope to provide comfort during such a difficult time.
I am incredibly lucky to do what I love, and I promise to create a ceremony that is meaningful and tailored to your unique story.
