Apart from family and friends, theatre is my biggest passion and I love being swept away by the performers on stage into the land of make-believe. Therefore, it is no surprise that I trained, originally, as an actress and have performed in several productions up and down the country.
Before becoming a celebrant, I worked as a Personal Assistant in London and finally as a primary school teacher. Each of these roles has provided me with the skills that allow me to provide you with an excellent and personal experience.
I am a mother to a little boy who is four and recently had a little girl, so I feel very blessed- and a little bit sleep-deprived!
I wanted to be a celebrant for a long time but never had the confidence to try. However, after almost ten years of teaching it felt like it was the right time to put my dream into action.
I love being with people and getting to know them, and this is a big part of the job. I adore a love story so I get really invested in yours and enjoy turning it into something creative for your ceremony. I chose a celebrant for my own wedding as we wanted a memorable and personal moment to share with our friends and family, so I understand the importance of this role.
I definitely enjoy the finer things in life and love donning a glamorous dress for a big event but home is where my heart truly is. My husband describes me as one of the kindest people he has ever met as I always put other people first and do what I can to help. Many clients have said how quickly I put them at ease and how easy I am to talk to, so I hope I can offer comfort if meeting you for a funeral.
I really do have the best job in the world so you can rest assured that I will create a meaningful ceremony for you.
